What do I know today?
Heartbreak and harmony are as close as a deep breath.
Aloneness and soothing are one step away from each other.
Sadness and holiness are differentiated by a blink of an eye.
Tears of sorrow and tears of joy are more often than not shed in the same memory.
Loss and relief are a stones throw away from each other.
Sorrow and sweetness together are tasted in our vulnerability shared.
Betrayal and love are separated by a fine hairs distance.

Our life is a combination of all things. We experience them all, all the feeling states, all the levels of consciousness. Some say we experience the

I believe it’s all a part of being human. As children we make up stories and most of our magical thinking does not fall in our favor. We find ways to “make it our fault, our wrongs, our defectiveness, or our I don’t belong” sadly it is the negative side of magical thinking.
When really it is just part of being human.
We get to taste, breath, receive, know, embrace the truth of who we are.
We get to be at choice. Do I balance between the sweet and the sorrow?
Do I succumb to one to then tip over into the other because life availed to me the opportunity through another to heal and feel the sweetness in a kindness bestowed upon me?
Most of us want, prefer and desire the kindness because most of us have these basic needs; to be loved, respected and treated fairly, to feel competent and confident and to feel whole and holy. We get to walk the fine line of duality and we get to choose what side of it we want to eventually fall on.
I encourage us to feel all of it and to choose the sweet self embrace of self love because in the end of any life, situation or experience it really does come down to do I love myself like I would another and if I do others will.

That’s what I know today.
Much love to you.
