Stephen Levine author of “Who Dies” and many other great books suggests that we “take tea with our fear” in this case we will call it anxiety. This article does a nice job of educating us about anxiety and showing how we can reshape our responses to it. He discusses using it in our creative process and I invite us to get create with our anxiety.
Many times in my life I have taken tea with my fears and it was always pleasantly surprising that I could dialogue with my fear and find out what the need was behind it and who knew it could be soothing and calming just to sit with it and identify the source of anxiety.
I invite you to “take tea” with yours and let your self be creative with your fears, you might find that they aren’t as big as you think they are!
Blessings,
